How do we switch who pays for a gift subscription?

If the gifter would like to pay for the first Box or a few Boxes, and the giftee would like to continue the subscription with their own payment method, here’s how to do it.

1. Cancel the subscription to stop future charges on the gifter’s payment method. See 👉 How do I pause or cancel a gift subscription?
2. After cancellation, to continue the subscription, the giftee needs to start a new subscription in the same language. The new subscription will pick up where the previous one left off. It will not restart at Box 1.
   • Go to https://talkbox.mom/box
   • Add the subscription you want to continue to your cart.
   • Complete checkout without selecting “This is a gift.”
3. The giftee completes checkout with their own payment details.
