Can our family do more than one language?

Yes… if it doesn’t overwhelm you! 😊

If you’re just starting out, we recommend focusing on one language first so you can build momentum and confidence.

Once you’ve built a solid foundation, it’s much easier to add a second language without getting overwhelmed.

That said, some families do start with two or more languages at once. If that’s you, just know it helps to set clear expectations and create simple routines for each language so no one burns out.

There are several ways you can balance multiple languages in a way that works for your family:

You can have dedicated time for each language.

For example, in the morning, practice and use Spanish, and in the afternoon, practice and use German. You can also rotate each language by day—Spanish one day, German the next.

Alternatively, you can dive into new material in one language first, then switch to the other language while you continue reviewing the first language.

For example, start Box 1 Challenge 1 in Spanish for two or three weeks. Then as you keep using and reviewing those phrases in Spanish, you can start the same Box 1 Challenge 1 in German, for the next two or three weeks. Repeat the process for each Challenge or Box. This can be done by challenge, box, or week, depending on what feels right for your family!
